The Economist on the Archbishop’s sermon

The new issue of The Economist is out and, as usual, is essential reading. They have an article entitled Who’re you calling naive?:

This week Gordon Brown, the chancellor of the exchequer, called for a challenge to the Church of England’s teaching on the sufficiency of the scriptures for salvation in the light of new evidence from non-canonical texts. His audience of economists and business leaders responded enthusiastically. No, of course he didn’t. But he ought to, if he is to follow the example of the nation’s top spiritual leader, the Archbishop of Canterbury.

The magazine is referring to the sermon given this week by the Archbishop which discussed my report, Trade Justice or Free Trade?
