A different reason for Dr Williams to go
By Alex Singleton on Feb 10, 2008 in Politics
On the Telegraph site, I argue that if the Archbishop of Canterbury is to resign, it should for a different failure:
In the private sector, CEOs routinely get pushed out because of falling customer numbers caused by their failure to market services that appeal to the public.
Looking at results might seem vulgar in the leisurely world of full-time Christianity, but the truth is that Dr Williams has failed to deliver. Figures… for his first three years in office show declining Sunday church attendances each year, from 1,017,000 in 2003 to 983,000 in 2006.

I would have thought that this would be a good reason too: http://www.rossparker.com/2007/01/15/the-canterbury-communist/
